DeFi Startup
Hashnote, a DeFi startup, came to me with a clear challenge: create a brand that felt safe and credible to traditional financial institutions while still signaling a modern, “finance 2.0” spirit. In a landscape crowded with sci-fi inspired identities, they needed a trusted bridge between the worlds of crypto innovation and institutional finance.
I led the brand strategy phase (with support from Foodmuse) and designed a complete visual system around the existing name. After exploring more than twenty logo directions, we landed on a mark that conveys timeless money — confident, simple, and enduring. The brand extended across business collateral, including deck templates, letterhead, and cards, as well as practical digital assets like Zoom backgrounds, wallpapers, and email footers. I also built a pre-launch website to support early partner outreach.
Two years later, Hashnote was acquired by Circle, validating its position as a serious, trusted player in the financial ecosystem.
